Structure theory
The imperforate drum was attached with a wood-cored discharge screw; the two simultaneously co-rotate at high speeds with certain speed difference, which is generated from the drive system and differential. The suspension enters the filling screw cavity through the feeding pipe, then, after accelerated, enters the drum. Under the centrifugal force, the solid-phase grain with larger density sediments to the drum inner wall, forming a dreg annular layer, which is continuously pushed towards the smaller side of the drum by the discharge screw, so as to discharged out of the drum, while the clarified fluids is continuously discharged out of the drum through the overflow port at the larger side, thus enabling the solid-liquid separation of the suspension.
